How To Watch El Clasico Live Streaming In UK?

Published 29 November 2016 By: VPN Sports

El Clasico won’t be telecasted live in the UK? What the *****!

Sorry Brits, but you won’t be watching the upcoming EL Clasico live on television.

La Liga’s decision to broadcast the upcoming EL Clasico at 3:15 the UK time means that people in the UK will not be able to watch the game live on television.

As per an outdated British broadcasting rule, none of the channels are allowed to broadcast any game live between 2:45 and 5:15. This means that none of the Brits will be able to watch the game, scheduled to kick off at Camp Nou, live on television.

The La Liga President, Javier Tebas, defended the time-slot by insisting that it was just a tactic to maximize the match’s worldwide audience.

“The Barcelona and Real Madrid game will be played on Saturday at 4:15 p.m [Spanish time]. The game will not be aired in England because of the TV embargo that is placed at that time,

“We had three windows we had considered, at 1 p.m, 4:15 pm and 6:30 p.m. We analysed those with our audiovisual team and to play at 6 pm is too late in Asia while to play at 1 p.m is too early for the American market.

“The timetable is a strategy we have been working on in recent years and the results are there. Our international sales have tripled because of that and the quality of the players we have in our league.

“We are continuously looking at ways that we can improve our product. For example, we have installed aerial cameras in seven venues and by the end of the season, we will have that in three more stadiums.”
