Joan Mir hopes to enjoy the ‘final race’ with Suzuki at Valencia

This weekend, the Valencia Grand Prix will mark the conclusion of the Team Suzuki Ecstar project. Which witnessed Joan Mir make his MotoGP debut in 2019 and lead him to the championship in 2020.

The biker really wants to have enough luck by his side so that he can say his final last goodbyes as the Suzuki Ecstar projects ends. He mentioned. ‘I want to put everything together for this final round, for me and for my squad. I can be fast here, and my bike can be too, but we just need a little bit of luck on our side to tie it all together’.

Joan Mir – The last ride!

Following the decision earlier this year to halt Suzuki’s racing operation. Team Suzuki Ecstar’s personnel and riders are getting ready to close up business as the 2022 MotoGP World Championship season comes to a close.

The entire team will experience an emotional and unexpected finish, but the goal is to end on a high since sunny Spain is waiting. The MotoGP season finale will take place at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo Circuit, as has become custom over the years.

Now Mir’s main aim is to have a ‘troubled free’ time at the Valencia GP. Infact he even mentioned that. “I’ve had a few issues lately such as my arm pump in Malaysia, and the pressure gauge problem in Australia, and all I want now is to have a trouble-free weekend so I can bring this chapter to a close with my fantastic team and enjoy the final race.”
