DeVonta Smith was desperate to get the ball in his hands and had been calling for it all game long. He entered Monday’s contest against New York at Philly’s top receiver, with 46 catches and 664 yards on his resume but got very little production from Alabama Quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Him being targeted only twice (once each) throughout their 13-7 loss of a showdown between division rivals – The Giants played defense like they always do while DEO Jersey boy did everything possible not just run routes downfield or block someone else’s man if he could help himself please please give this guy some space!

“I love the fact that he wants the ball in crunch time,” coach Nick Sirianni said post-game.
“Just wasn’t the play for him there.”
“I’m sure he was upset,” Hurts added.
