As the FIFA World Cup comes closer the excitement increases. However, don’t get too excited as Qatar’s rules can push FIFA Fans away to jail if they do not follow the rules of their country.

Previously, the World Cup Stadiums turned into party centers but this time it’s about obeying the rules. As Qatar is an Islamic country and the laws must be followed.

What laws should FIFA Fans be careful of?

The fans are asked to follow the country’s norms and laws. It also includes policies relating to alcohol, drugs, sexuality, and dress code. The dress code was emphasized and the visitors must follow various restrictions.

As per the daily star report, international fans are advised to wear clothes that are not revealing. Any person who does not apply these regulations or shows ‘too much’ skin then they might end up in jail. If both men or women wear anything that has an offensive slogan, they shall be punished for their act as per Qatari laws.

Qatar’s government tourism website notes, “Attitudes towards dressing in Qatar are relaxed, but visitors (men as well as women) are expected to show respect for the local culture by avoiding excessively revealing clothes in public. It is generally recommended for men and women to ensure their shoulders and knees are covered.”

Even the FIFA website emphasized that Qatar laws are to be followed. It also states that the women can wear anything they like but considering the laws of the country or they might end up in jail.
