3 slots still left for FIFA World Cup 2022

29 qualified nations across the world will be watching the draw with bated breath, three spots in the final 32-team World Cup before it expands to 48 teams in 2026 are still up for grabs. Blame is to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. As a result, Ukraine’s qualifying play-off semi-final against Scotland is postponed until June. Therefore, in June 2 intercontinental play-offs will be held in Qatar. With one berth going to either Australia or the United Arab Emirates, and the other to Costa Rica or New Zealand.
