Different big-name players have joined the Saudi Pro League this summer, however two Premier League stars are set to remain put on the eve of the exchange window closing. Mo Salah and Jadon Sancho futures have been linked with transfers recently.
Presently, agreeing to an update from The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Mo Salah and Jadon Sancho futures will stay in England as the exchange window in Saudi Arabia plans to conclude on Thursday.
Liverpool received a substantial verbal offer of over £100 million for their Egyptian forward, Salah. However, manager Jürgen Klopp has firmly expressed his desire to retain Salah’s services at the club, and as a result, the offer was rebuffed.
On the other hand, Manchester United’s young English talent, Jadon Sancho, was linked with a departure following a public dispute with manager Erik Ten Hag regarding his training regimen. Despite this friction, Sancho is expected to stay with the club.
While the current window may not see Salah or Sancho move to the Saudi Pro League, reports suggest that clubs in Saudi Arabia will continue to express interest in a potential future move for Salah, keeping the door open for further developments.
It’s worth noting that this transfer window has witnessed several high-profile transfers to the Saudi Pro League, including the likes of Karim Benzema, Neymar, Sadio Mané, and Riyad Mahrez.
