Novak Djokovic has fired a warning to his French Open 2022 competitors, including Rafael Nadal. The world No 1 said that he found the best shape of clay in front of him during an interview after winning his first title this year at Italian Open with six-0 score lines against players who are currently ranked inside top 5 across all SAP Ending Points categories – giving us hope for what could happen when these two giants might face off real soon.
Djokovic has been in great form lately and it showed with his victory at the Italian Open. He lost to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina early on but was able to win two more matches before facing off against Michaelulla Bolelli who ended up being an easier opponent than expected for him once again proving that Djokovic’s level is going strong right now.
Novak’s Thoughts on French Open Start
Monte-Carlo does not come much bigger than this. Two time French Open champion crushed by Nadal in just over two hours, 6-0 7–6 (5). The Italian Open champion was confident before his meeting with the King of Clay and it showed as he fired a warning across town – don’t think for one minute that life will be easy if you’re competing against me.
“And like the previous years, I knew that my best shape on the clay is usually coming around Rome time so couldn’t be better time obviously coming into Roland Garros with the title in this wonderful tournament.”
