Ryder Cup star Shane Lowry says Trevor Immelman has “right attitude”


For leading the International Team at the Presidents Cup, Irish golfer and Ryder Cup star Shane Lowry has praised Trevor Immelman. Lowry is a strong golf player and achieved 2019 Open Championship, the Irish Open as an amateur in 2009, and the 2015 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

South African professional golfer Trevor John Immelman has participated on the PGA Tour, European Tour, and Sunshine Tour. In 2008, he won his first major title at the Master’s Tournament.

Why did Shane Lowry praised Immelman?

Shane Lowry appreciated the South African’s professional golfer and his attitude. As they showed the proper attitude that the European Ryder Cup squad. Hence, if the player continues to portray a strong personality, there’s a chance to win.

Before the Presidents Cup even began, Immelman’s Internationals were written off against a powerful US team. They ultimately lost 17.5 to 12.5. But Lowry said that he thought it was a little unfair to dismiss them so quickly.

He further stated. “I did fancy the Internationals to give the Americans a bit of a go. They were being written off very easily, and at the end of the day these lads are still professional golfers and they’re still some of the best golfers in the world.”
