Wales Football Team is without key players ahead of the match against Belgium


The Nations League 2022 match of Belgium v Wales is taking place on 22nd September, Thursday at the King Baudouin Stadium, Brussels. Although some of the lead players of Wales Football team are injured and will not be able to take place in the game.

Belgium is standing on the second number of UEFA Nations League 2022 ranking. Netherlands is on top. While Wales is sitting on the last number of the League A Group 4 standings.

Wales Football Team players injuries and captain’s involvement

Midfielders Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen, and Harry Wilson are all injured, as is defender Ben Davies. Due to the player’s injuries, they won’t be able to participate and this could effect the rankings of the Wales Football Team.

Due to travel issues brought on by Los Angeles FC’s fixture schedule. Wales captain Gareth Bale is a major question mark for their crucial Nations League match against Belgium.

His return flight won’t arrive in the UK until Tuesday, just 48 hours or so before the Wales game. As the LAFC’s match against Houston Dynamos is scheduled for the early hours of Monday morning, UK time.

Wales victory is essential

Wales has played four games so far, drawing one and losing three of them. The results were not helped by manager Robert Page having to start mainly backup teams in two of those games. 

In order to get ready for what would ultimately be a historic World Cup play-off victory over Ukraine in June. In order for Wales to stay in the top division of the Nations League, they must win at least one of these two games.

Wales Football Team will play the United States on November 21 in their first World Cup finals match in 64 years, and their final two matches before departing for Qatar are against Belgium and Poland.
