LeBron James has been placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, and was ruled out for the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.
The Lakers are preparing for LeBron James to miss multiple games. The team is revealing this on condition of anonymity, but ESPN previously reported that he’s “expected” to be out three or more and now it seems like his absence could be somewhat worse than initially thought!

The player with knowledge spoke about their plans in confidence – they only want the best possible outcome from these upcoming contests so there was no point talking openly before knowing everything exactly how bad things truly got after he was tested positive despite of being fully vaccinated months before.

James is averaging 25.8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists this season which would be cut short by at least four games if he were to miss 10 days of action due to the league’s health and safety protocols.
There have been 17 players that have entered into these since start up again including some who did not participate in training camp or pre-season games.
