With one year to go until the 2022 World Cup gets under way in Qatar, several nations have now booked their place. While some will be anxious and waiting for a possible last minute switch of allegiances from another participating country.
With the penultimate round of fixtures in European qualifying coming to a conclusion, France was able to retain their world title while Gareth Southgate’s England claimed another spot.
However, there will be some big names in Europe’s play-off deciders in March – also there’s a lot to be seen around the upcoming scenarios, with 13 of the 32 seats are now taken.
Who has qualified from Europe?
The England football team made it back to the World Cup for a second time in four years, where they surely hope to make their country proud. They secured qualification with an impressive 10-0 win over San Marino on Friday night sealing their spot in the World Cup 2022 qualified teams.
10-European countries have already qualified to the FIFA world cup, 3 more still have a chance to qualify out of the remaining 12. In Africa, 54-countries were trimmed to 10 who still have to compete for only five slots
