According to McCoy, Washington stands out as a true teacher in the NFL, a quality he believes is often undervalued. McCoy elaborated, “They don’t know how to break down film. They don’t know how to watch film. They don’t know how to prepare for games. They are just talented. They’re just better and better athletes.”
Washington’s teaching style, as McCoy describes, goes beyond rote instructions. He instills a deep understanding of the game, asking critical questions like “Why am I looking at this?
